About The Role

As a Banana Republic stylist, you will help create aspirational and on-trend looks that enhance the customer's emotional connection to the brand. You will be an expert on styling and fashion, with a thorough understanding of designers, brands, and seasonal trends. Your role involves contributing to a positive, friendly, and inclusive environment that inspires customers and makes them feel welcome. Your main goal is to grow the business by providing an outstanding customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Take inspiration from credible fashion references, including style icons and influencers, and translate that into styling solutions for customers.
• Engage authentically with customers to understand and meet their styling needs.
• Serve as a brand storyteller to create engaging experiences that drive sales and meet store goals, focusing on the customer.
• Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with our Words to Live By.
• Support an inclusive environment where both customers and employees feel a sense of belonging.
• Assist in various store functions including sales floor, fitting rooms, cash wrap, and back of house as needed.

Who You Are

• Have styling experience in luxury fashion or possess strong knowledge of trends and designer brands, with the ability to solve customer styling needs.
• Effective at communicating and building meaningful customer relationships that foster brand loyalty.
• Flexible and adaptable to work shifts that meet business needs; scheduling may vary.
• Capable of maneuvering around the sales floor, stockroom, and office, and able to lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Passionate about hospitality, fashion, and styling.
• Comfortable engaging with customers.
• Team-oriented and a champion of Gap Inc. culture.
• Curious with a proactive, “can do” attitude.
