About The Role

As a Banana Republic stylist, you will help create aspirational and on-trend looks that enhance the customer's emotional connection to the brand. You will be an expert on styling and fashion, with a thorough understanding of designers, brands, and seasonal trends. Your role involves contributing to a positive, friendly, and inclusive environment that inspires customers and makes them feel welcome. Your primary goal is to grow the business by providing an outstanding customer experience.

What You'll Do

1. Take inspiration from credible and relevant fashion references, including current style icons and influencers, and translate that inspiration into actionable styling solutions for customers.
2. Connect and engage with customers authentically to understand their styling needs.
3. Serve as a Brand storyteller to create experiences that drive sales and achieve store goals, with the customer as the primary focus.
4. Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with our Words to Live By.
5. Assist in creating an inclusive environment where customers and employees feel a sense of belonging.
6. Support sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, and back of house operations as required.

Who You Are

1. Experienced in styling within luxury fashion and/or possess strong knowledge of trends and designer brands, with the ability to translate that knowledge into solving customer styling needs.
2. An effective communicator who can create meaningful connections with customers, fostering brand loyalty.
3. Flexible and adaptable to work shifts that meet the needs of the business; flexible scheduling may be available.
4. Capable of maneuvering around the sales floor, stockroom, and office, and able to lift up to 30lb, with or without accommodation.
5. Passionate about hospitality, fashion, and styling.
6. Comfortable engaging with customers.
7. A team player.
8. Champion of Gap Inc. culture.
9. Curious with a “can do” attitude.
