About the Role

This position presents an opportunity to participate in a growth-oriented company and to gain exposure to a unique industry. This role is ideally suited to a motivated individual seeking a challenging opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with the Treasury Operations group during this term, supporting the day-to-day activities of Treasury operations in various local and international banking platforms and supporting process improvement initiatives to optimize cash position of the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitoring and managing the company’s daily liquidity position to assist management in making appropriate decisions regarding cash forecast, cash receipts and disbursements.
2. Assisting the Treasury with month-end and quarter-end closing activities and any related supporting documentation.
3. Preparing wire transfers and intercompany cash transfers in the Treasury system and in various banking platforms.
4. Preparing bank account documentation and assisting in the management of bank accounts for Brookfield Renewable and its related companies.
5. Preparing monthly and ad-hoc financial, compliance or audit reports.
6. Managing Treasury shared email box to support the team with meeting deadlines and completing inter-departmental activities.

Knowledge Required

1. Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program;
2. Completed at least one year of University Studies in Commerce or Business Administration.
3. Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook tools;
4. Ability to quickly master new software, specifically our TMS;

Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
