Job summary

Voyago is seeking an Operations Supervisor based in Sudbury to oversee all Student Transportation operations within the Greater Sudbury area. You will report to the Operations Manager, coordinate with HR and Maintenance, monitor staff performance, and ensure services run smoothly during leaves and holidays.

The role emphasizes on-site supervision, safety, and compliance, with a focus on maintaining schedules, payroll accuracy, and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused approach to operations.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain clear background checks.
• Valid B license preferred.
• Knowledge of Sudbury region and surrounding areas.
• Independent work capability with strong communication.
• 2+ years in a similar operations role.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily student transportation operations in assigned areas.
• Coordinate internal logistics between Schools division and other support teams.
• Supervise staff and manage performance, payroll entry, and attendance.
• Coordinate with HR, Maintenance, Health & Safety for training and compliance.
• Support on-site scheduling, coverage, and on-call duties for emergencies.
• Assist and coordinate driver onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Ensure timely delivery of services and maintain KPI reporting to Operations Manager.
• Cover school runs when required and maintain complete records and timesheets.
