Student Project Coordinator (Greater Toronto Area)

We are seeking a Student Project Coordinator for a 4-8 month co-op starting September 2025, with positions available in the Greater Toronto Area, Pickering, Mississauga, and Port Hope. Please specify your preferred location(s) and term length in your application.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate drawings and work-specific scope/trades
• Review trade quotes, verify material quantities, hours, and rates
• Participate in project meetings
• Conduct deficiency walks and update deficiency logs
• Issue warranties
• Take and coordinate progress photos
• Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings

Field Coordination:

• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Coordinate sub-trade work
• Verify site conditions and coordinate with drawings
• Supervise sub-trade work
• Set up and maintain record keeping
• Layout site lines and grades using total station

Scheduling:

• Update project schedules
• Create manual and graphical schedules
• Obtain scheduling information from sub-trades
• Monitor manpower productivity

This role requires enrollment in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Industrial Engineering, with at least one more semester of education following the internship and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, relationship-building skills, and a proactive attitude. Residency or a valid work permit is required, and a current transcript must be included in your application.
