• Eligibility List : CATSA will use this opportunity to establish a list of candidates eligible to fill subsequent vacancies. The eligibility list may be used to staff permanent or fixed-term positions with similar responsibilities and qualifications.

Summary of responsibilities :

Gather, analyze and summarize data that pertains to CATSA operations;

Merge data files from various sources and prepare them for analysis;

Perform quality assurance on existing and new data sources and reports;

Conduct user acceptance testing for Business Intelligence reports and operational data collection systems;

Performing ad-hoc data analysis upon request;

Assist with documenting various operational procedures; and,

Support in planning, monitoring, executing and reporting on operational trials.

What you need to succeed :

To qualify for the position, you must have :

Enrolled in a college or university degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or any other specialization relevant to the duties of the position;

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;

Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS, SPSS, Python or R would be an asset;

Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI would be an asset; and

Knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts and application.
