About the Role

The Procurement Team is looking for a student to work with the team for the Fall 2025 coop term. The Student will be part of a collaborative team of accounting professionals working closely together in the preparation, analysis and presentation of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely conversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders
  • Work closely with Project Managers and business stakeholders to ensure efficient and consistent procurement practices through all stages of the project
  • Safeguard, and ensure adherence to all company Procurement Processes and Policies
  • Review exceptions and comments submitted by Suppliers to company’s Terms and Conditions
  • Investigate and resolve any issues related to Purchase Orders
  • Participate in the Supplier creation process and ensure all of the company’s insurance requirements are being met.

Knowledge Required

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program;
  • Previous experience using an ERP system would be considered an asset
  • Advanced working knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates ability to take initiative and work independently within a team environment
  • Detail oriented with strong accuracy skills
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment
  • Positive, proactive approach to enhancing procurement methods and company practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
