Job summary

Fidelity Canada invites a student in Operations Controls to join our team in a hybrid schedule in Canada. You will review and clear accounts, analyze potentially suspicious transactions related to AML/ATF and fraud, and assist with reporting and day-to-day admin tasks as assigned.

You must be enrolled in a co-op program, pursuing finance/business/economics, and available full-time for the term. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required, with a keen interest in financial services

How you’ll make an impact:

As a student in Operations Controls , you will have the opportunity to:

• Review and clear accounts potentially associated with money laundering (AML)
• Analyze potentially suspicious transactions related to anti-money laundering or anti-terrorist financing (ATF) and fraud detection
• Creating, preparing and analyzing statistical reports
• Day to day administrative duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

• Working towards a university degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, business, or economics is preferred (ideally completed 1st or 2nd year)
• Keen interest in the financial services industry and capital markets
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service focus
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
• You must be in a registered co-op program to be eligible for this opportunity
• You must be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate hourly rate ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 , based on experience and qualifications.

We offer market-aligned rates that recognize the specialized skills and agility required for this role. We’re proud to offer a compensation package that aligns with provincial pay transparency requirements.
