Job summary

Campus Living Centres in Canada is seeking student Resident Advisors to foster a safe, inclusive living environment. You will live in an assigned residence room, mentor peers, and support personal and academic success through planned programs.

Core duties include enforcing Living Standards, hosting social/educational events, attending weekly staff meetings, and coordinating with Residence Life staff. Applicants must be enrolled full-time and maintain a minimum 65% GPA, with 0–16 hours/week

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at the institution where the candidate will be working.
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of 65% throughout the duration of their employment.
• Superior verbal communication skills.
• Above average customer service skills.
• Passion for leadership; excellent communication skills; positive attitude; team player.
• Previous leadership experience is an asset.
• Independent completion of Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (valid for term) and Criminal Record Check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Preside as a role model and mentor for residence students.
• Live in an assigned residence room and support student transition into college/university life.
• Facilitate social and educational programs while enforcing Residence Community Living Standards.
