STUDENT - Investor Relations Coordinator

About the Role… this is a 3 to 4-month term position

Reporting to the Senior Investor Relations Advisor, the Investor Relations Coordinator – Co-op is responsible for maintaining databases, filing systems, and coordinating securities transaction materials.

The Coordinator primarily supports Graham’s investor activities and may assist other departments as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. They should be proactive, resourceful, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently. An interest in economics, capital markets, and investments is beneficial. The candidate should also adopt a motivating, quality-focused work style, inspiring team members and ensuring excellence in all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities of the Investor Relations Coordinator – Co-op include:

Investment Reporting and Disclosure

  • Organize Graham's electronic and physical filing systems for various investment programs and profiles.
  • Maintain investor profile information.
  • Reconcile investment data with third parties.
  • Ensure audit trails are maintained and compliant, identify discrepancies, and address them.

Investment Offerings and Transactions

  • Facilitate distributions of cash, securities, notes, and property.
  • Assist with redemption and transfer of investments.
  • Manage legal documents for signatures and submissions to complete transactions.

Marketing, Communications, and Websites

  • Manage the Investor Relations email account.
  • Assist with investor mailouts and the development of marketing materials.
  • Help maintain Graham’s online investor portal and libraries.
  • Update and analyze the annual Investor Relations Survey.

Relationship Management

  • Support relationships with investors, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Represent Graham as an ambassador externally.
Qualifications / Experience & Key Competencies
  • Recently completed or enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Management, Finance, Marketing, or similar.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active listening and insightful questioning.
  • Effective team player and collaborator.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
