Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in HR is an asset.
  • You must be currently enrolled in a registered coop program.
  • Availability on a full-time basis during the coop term.

Student HR Operations

The student in HR Operations will partner closely with HR Services Team on HR administration compensation reporting and payroll duties.

Your key responsibilities will be :

  • Processing of HR transactions
  • HR data reporting
  • Assisting in company survey presentations
  • Assisting in compensation and benefit related activities
  • Helping with the fitness reimbursement
  • Assisting in the Gift Cards gross up
  • Processing manual Manulife enrolment
  • Assisting with the ongoing HOP program
  • Helping with the Microsoft form project

Student HR Talent Acquisition

The student in HR Talent Acquisition will partner closely with the recruiters and the HR team on coordination and administration duties related to the talent acquisition function at Fidelity.

You will have the opportunity to :

  • Partner with recruiters and support them through all phases of the talent acquisition life cycle including Workday processing job postings offer letters prep onboarding processes i.e. backgrounds checks and application forms reference checking etc.
  • Reviews talent acquisition processes and recommends continuous improvement ideas to increase the functions efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Great opportunity to be a key player and add immediate value on the recruitment team.
  • Complete a variety of ad hoc projects as assigned.

What were looking for :

  • Enrolled in a postsecondary institution in a human resources management program preferably
  • Previous work experience in HR is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate considerable use of tact diplomacy discretion and judgment
  • Ability to balance and prioritize tasks while maintaining the appropriate attention to detail and accuracy
  • You must be currently enrolled in a registered coop program to be considered for these positions
  • You must also be available on a fulltime basis for the duration of the coop term
