Join the Senate administration team or a Senator’s office in diverse fields such as Corporate Security, Information Services, Human Resources, Chamber Operations and Procedures, Property and Services, Senators’ Offices, the Clerk of the Senate, and Communications.

All students enrolled or returning to full-time studies at a recognized post-secondary institution.

This selection process may be used to staff determinate or indeterminate positions at the same level with similar requirements.

Prerequisites

  • Currently enrolled with full-time student status in a recognized post-secondary institution;
  • Returning to full-time studies in the next academic semester (proof of enrolment required);
  • Experience working in a professional environment providing a high level of customer service;
  • Excellent communication skills with high standards of service, integrity and respect;
  • Superior level of motivation, problem-solving and collaboration skills;
  • Outstanding ability to take initiative, prioritize assignments and adapt quickly in a fast-pace environment;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities (i.e. Coop programs, volunteering activities, etc.) is considered an asset;
  • Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French) is considered an asset. Some positions may require fluency in both languages.
