Job summary

Borderland Co-operative Limited is recruiting Student Grill & Chill Team Members for Whitewood Dairy Queen to support customer service and food preparation. You will interact with customers, take and pack orders, and help with dine-in service.

This role offers learning across all restaurant areas, flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and a chance to join a long-standing co-op that values safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn all areas of the restaurant.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with handling food and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Take and pack food and soft serve orders.
• Provide table service for dine-in customers.
• Prepare chill soft serve menu items.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitization.

Duties Include:

• Customer Interaction
• Taking and packing food and soft serve orders
• Offering table service to dine-in customers
• Preparation of all chill soft serve menu items
• Willingness to learn all areas of the restaurant
• Daily cleaning/sanitizing
• Adhering to all food safety regulations as well as all policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate day to day behaviours that align with and strengthen our vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
• Be part of a culture of safety through the adherence to company standards for health & safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence.
