Service New Brunswick (SNB) invites a Winter 2027 Deskside Support Analyst internship to join the SNB Deskside Support team in Fredericton/ Saint John, NB. You will gain hands-on IT support experience, deploying and troubleshooting hardware and software for health authorities.

The role is in-person, 36.25 hours/week, January to April 2027 with potential extension. Applicants must be enrolled in CS/IT programs and proficient in English, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Language requirement: English or bilingual (French and English).
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with basic computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and works well with others.

Responsabilités

• Set up, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Respond to service requests, resolve common technical issues, and support device refresh initiatives.
• Keep IT documentation and asset inventory up to date, help with IT projects.
• Deliver devices on-site to clients and ensure a working setup in person.
• Receive training, coaching, and feedback; contribute to the larger team.
