Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & RFx Support: Assist in RFx development (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including scope definition, data collection, and supplier communication
• Procurement Analytics & Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data (spend, pricing, supplier performance); analyze market trends
• Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify specifications
• Process & Operational Excellence: Support intake and validation of purchase requests or sourcing inputs
• Project & Strategic Initiative Support: Support defined workstreams and present findings to procurement leadership
• AI & Innovation: Support the evaluation and implementation of AI-driven sourcing solutions and market intelligence tools

Job Summary

The co‑op will collaborate closely with procurement leadership, business stakeholders, and suppliers to support value creation, improve decision‑making, and drive operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & RFx Support:
  • Assist in RFx development (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including scope definition, data collection, and supplier communication
  • Support supplier evaluation and comparison processes using defined criteria (cost, quality, risk, capacity)
  • Participate in sourcing events and documentation of supplier proposals
• Procurement Analytics & Insights
  • Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data (spend, pricing, supplier performance)
  • Analyze market trends and pricing benchmarks to support sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, savings trackers, and project updates to support performance tracking and decision‑making
• Supplier & Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify specifications
  • Support supplier communication for data requests, follow‑ups, and onboarding documentation
• Process & Operational Excellence
  • Support intake and validation of purchase requests or sourcing inputs
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation
• Project & Strategic Initiative Support
  • Support or lead defined workstreams (e.g., spend analysis, RFx support, or supplier benchmarking) and present findings to procurement leadership and stakeholders
  • Develop presentations, one‑pagers, and executive summaries to support decision‑making
• AI & Innovation: Support the evaluation and implementation of AI‑driven sourcing solutions and market intelligence tools

Job Requirements

The hiring range for this position is $18.00 - $24.50 CAD per hour. The final agreed‑upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
