Description

This position is part of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) and offers a comprehensive benefits package. It is a hybrid role primarily based at North Campus, Edmonton, combining remote and in-person work.

The role involves developing and executing student engagement and outreach activities to support student success, retention, and community building within the Faculty of Business. Responsibilities include planning events, managing communication campaigns, maintaining the faculty website, supporting mentorship programs, and liaising with students and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize programs and events promoting student success and community involvement.
  • Manage communication strategies, including a weekly student newsletter and social media content.
  • Support orientation and other student engagement activities.
  • Develop and implement outreach and mentorship programs.
  • Coordinate volunteer management and participate in data collection for program evaluation.
  • Ensure inclusivity, accessibility, and adherence to university policies in all activities.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, HR, communications, or related fields preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in student engagement or student services preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, social media, Google applications, and CMS experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
