Student – Assistant Resource Management Technician

The Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) is the steward of Ontario's public geoscience data, providing access to information on the province's geology. They conduct field investigations to understand geological processes and Earth's resources. The data collected by OGS is used for mineral investment attraction and provincial land-use planning decisions related to environment, ecology, climate change, and public health and safety.

This is a full-time on-site role as a Student – Assistant Resource Management Technician located in South Porcupine, ON. The role involves tasks related to resource management, data collection, and field investigations to support geological processes and Earth's resources.

• Data collection, field investigation, and resource management skills
• Knowledge of geoscience data analysis and interpretation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively on-site and follow safety protocols
• Experience or education in geology, environmental science, or related field
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Understanding of land-use planning and environmental impact assessment is a plus
