Job summary

Oxford Properties in Toronto seeks a student intern to support project delivery alongside finance and technology professionals and external vendors.

You will assist in data analysis, process documentation, and reporting, while contributing to project management activities and portfolio insights.

This role offers growth within a team that emphasizes collaboration, learning, and exposure to real estate development and PM methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Organized with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel/PowerPoint); Visio is an asset.
  • Prior real estate or project-based experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the delivery of projects by working closely with finance and technology professionals and external vendors
  • Assist in the preparation of data analysis, process documentation, and reporting
  • Support project management activities as required (project progress, status, and issues/risk tracking)
  • Prepare and provide analytical insights on improvement opportunities within our project portfolio
  • Support our finance learning & development content creation, delivery and administration
  • Participate in ad hoc initiatives and special projects as required

You will be responsible for:

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting, Finance), Technology, Engineering, Project or Operations Management

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required); Visio is an asset

  • Prior real estate experience and/or previous experience in a project-based environment is considered an asset

This posting is for an existing vacancy.The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.

You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
