Job summary

SEGULA Technologies Canada is seeking an experienced Structure Engineer to support a major rail electrification project in Ontario. You will provide independent structural expertise and contribute to the design, review, and delivery of critical OCS supporting structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Locations include Toronto/GTHA, Ontario or Montréal, Québec with hybrid/flexible working options; on-site presence preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural analysis and steel design for rail/highway structures.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and interfaces.
• Experience aligning designs with project milestones (60%, 90%, IFC) and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, calculations, design reviews, and technical assessments.
• Review and challenge existing structural designs for quality, compliance, and constructability.
• Design and review steel structures including masts, portals, trusses, anchors, connections, and bespoke elements.
• Support design milestones including 60%, 90%, IFC, and shop-drawing reviews.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, drawings, calculations, and stamped deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project interfaces.
• Identify and resolve structural and constructability issues.
• Manage multiple design packages and project-driven engineering requests.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide progress updates.
