Job summary

CBCL Limited in Fredericton, NB, is seeking a Structural Technician/Technologist to join our team. You will prepare structural models and drawings using Revit, with occasional AutoCAD work, and work with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality deliverables.

You will perform field measurements, BIM coordination, shop drawing review, and assist during construction. A diploma in Engineering Technology or CAD/Civil Technology is preferred, with 2+ years of drafting experience and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Technology, CAD Technology, or Civil Technology preferred.
• 2+ years progressive drafting experience as a modeling/drafting practitioner.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of project construction practices and structural engineering drawings.
• Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing structural models and drawings using Revit; occasional AutoCad drafting as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Visit project sites for field measurements and notes.
• Utilize BIM for information management and coordination with other disciplines.
