Job Purpose
The Quality Lead is primarily responsible for initiating front end QC planning for construction & maintenance-based activities and the implementation of such plans. This role will require on-site execution and tracking of progress, inspection, document control, and submittal. Integration of the QA/QC process will be coordinated at the LNGC Site in Kitimat, BC.
The incumbent is required to work on a construction site with moderate noise, extreme temperatures, and numerous hazards including equipment.
The job may require the incumbent to walk stairs; be outside in inclement weather (slippery surfaces and cold); carry objects, drive, and be exposed to normal office routines.
The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal for extended periods of time; and extensive reading. The incumbent is also required to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
