About the Role:

·SPA Engineering has an immediate need for a Junior Structural Engineering Technologist with experience in the design and construction of wood, steel and concrete buildings.

Job Duties:

·Prepare contract drawings and specifications for commercial, institutional, residential and industrial facilities

·Review documents for coordination with other engineering disciplines and verify accuracy and compliance with applicable CAD standards

·Perform other design related tasks as directed by the supervisor

·Provide construction site inspections to ensure projects are constructed according to the design documents

·Able to meet deadlines, and able to work alone or with a team

Skills and Qualifications:

·Diploma in Engineering Technology

·Must be familiar with Revit

·Must have strong communication (written and verbal) skills

Experience:

·Engineering drafting: 2 years (preferred)

·Revit: 2 years (preferred)
