We are pleased to announce that CCPRS has secured a 5-year contract for the Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract V (PA TAC V) in the West zones, including states like Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, Arizona, and territories such as Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and Hawaii, among others. Through CCPRS, SOL Engineering Services, LLC seeks a technical support assistant for FEMA disaster-related operations nationwide. FEMA utilizes the PA TAC to provide various professional services, including environment/general planning, engineering, construction management, project management, and financial analysis to assist state, local, and municipal entities in applying for Federal Public Assistance Funding for disaster-damaged infrastructure.

SOL Engineering Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Structural Engineer to support FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in assessing and mitigating damage to buildings and infrastructure caused by disasters. The role involves providing technical expertise in evaluating, designing, and implementing structural repairs and retrofits. Candidates with FEMA experience or relevant structural engineering experience, currently residing in or able to deploy to the listed areas, are encouraged to apply.

Important Note: FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Experience is highly valued for deployment. Candidates must have at least 1 year of deployment experience at regional, state, or local levels.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering with 5 years of related experience and a PE license, or a bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Ability to conduct detailed assessments of structures impacted by disasters, evaluating damage, safety, and structural integrity.
  • Perform structural analysis, develop retrofit designs, repair solutions, and construction plans in compliance with codes and standards.
  • Create detailed designs, specifications, and scopes of work for structural repairs and retrofits, coordinating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of FEMA PA structural projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance.
Preferred Experience
  • Deployment as a Site Inspector on DR-4332-TX or similar FEMA disaster response experience.
  • Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Experience as a Site Inspector, Program Delivery Manager, Public Assistance Coordinator, or related roles within FEMA.
  • Completed FEMA training such as Program Delivery Manager, Site Inspector, PA Operations, Cost Estimating, Debris Management, or Hazard Mitigation.
