Structural Engineer

To support our mission we are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Vancouver.

What does this role involve?

• Concept studies, including estimating quantities and preliminary designs
• Detailed concrete and steel design, including interaction with Drafters to produce models and documentation in line with QA Compliance
• Assist with construction enquiries, including safe lifting and erection
• Interface with other Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Process and Mechanical
• Focus on technical innovation and continuous improvement

What are we looking for in our future team member?

• Registered as a P.Eng or able to obtain the P.Eng designationwithin the next 12 months
• Engineering experience in design/consultancy/operational environments
• Previous mining or metals industry experience would be highly regarded
• Ability to safely and effectively self-manage time, priorities and activities
• Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with Canadian building code across the provinces is desirable

Salary range in BC: $70,000-125,000

The salary offered to the successful person for this position will consider education, experience, relevant skills and capability, geographic location and market conditions at the time of hire.
