Responsibilities

• structural design, drafting, and analysis using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
• collaborating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
• supporting structural engineering projects from concept through completion
• conducting structural assessments
• preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• ensuring work complies with applicable codes and standards

Requirements

• Candidates should have experience in structural engineering design and project coordination.
• Proficiency with CAD and design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with MicroStation, Mathcad, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam is an asset.
• Familiarity with Nova Scotia building codes, regulations, and construction standards is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work on-site regularly in Halifax.
