Job Description:

Parsons is growing in Eastern Canada, and we are seeking talented civil, bridge, and transportation engineers and technicians to join our core infrastructure team in the Greater Toronto Area. Join us to help build our team and drive success in the GTA. We have an opportunity for a BRIDGE EIT to join our mobility solutions team, servicing projects and clients across Ontario and Canada.

We specialize in bridge design, analysis, rehabilitation, and construction of sustainable, efficient structures. Recognized with numerous awards, Parsons is known for excellence in structural engineering. You will work on designing and managing projects with a strong work ethic, requiring collaboration, communication, proposal development, engineering design, drawing review, and coordination with team members, sub-consultants, clients, and contractors. This role offers professional growth as a key team member.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a structural designer for bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
2. Assist in preparing deliverables such as design calculations, feasibility studies, structural analysis, plans, specifications, proposals, estimates, and schedules.
3. Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to ensure coordinated designs.
4. Ensure all deliverables conform to technical guides, standards, and codes.
5. Conduct inspections of existing bridges and structures under construction.
6. Be willing to travel or relocate to project sites as needed.
7. Perform additional engineering tasks as required.
