Job Description:

Parsons is growing in Eastern Canada, and we are looking for talented civil, bridge, and transportation engineers and technicians to join our core infrastructure team in the Greater Toronto Region. We are seeking a BRIDGE EIT to support our mobility solutions team on projects and client engagements in the GTA. In this role, you will contribute to creating innovative and practical solutions for bridge projects across Ontario and Canada.

We specialize in bridge design, analysis, rehabilitation, and construction of efficient, elegant structures integrated sustainably into their environment. You will work on designing and managing projects with a strong work ethic, requiring collaboration, clear communication, proposal preparation, engineering design, drawing review, and coordination with project teams, sub-consultants, clients, and contractors. Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as structural designer for bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
  • Prepare deliverables such as design calculations, feasibility studies, structural analysis, plans, specifications, proposals, estimates, and work schedules.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure coordinated designs.
  • Ensure compliance with technical guides, standards, and applicable codes.
  • Conduct inspections of existing bridges and structures under construction.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate as needed for project sites.
  • Perform other engineering duties as assigned.
