TYLin Buildings in Toronto is seeking a Structural Designer to join our team. You will work with project teams on structural design and analysis for diverse building types, from concept through completion.

The role emphasizes collaboration, innovative thinking, and delivering constructible designs while upholding ethical and sustainable practices. A hybrid work arrangement is available in the Canadian market.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on structures; Master’s degree is a plus.
• E.I.T. exam preferred; 0–3 years of relevant experience in commercial, institutional, or residential projects.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure and structural analysis software is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural design and analysis for buildings projects (steel, concrete, masonry, wood) from concept to completion.
• Assist in preparing drawings and specifications and document existing conditions through site investigations.
• Conduct field reviews for projects under construction and collaborate with project teams.
• Support project team with design development and client-focused solutions.

Job Summary: TYLin Buildings is seeking Structural Designer to join our team in Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to do the structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through to completion.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field review for projects under construction.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (with a focus on structures preferred).
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in the execution of commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
• Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $36.00-$40.00 per hour for this position and local market.
