Job Title : Structural Designer

Job Description

The role involves developing innovative structural designs that meet project specifications and standards, collaborating with engineers and architects, and ensuring designs are functional, safe, and visually aligned.

Responsibilities

1. Develop detailed structural designs using Revit, Structural Steel, and reinforced concrete, ideally for industrial support structures and buildings.
2. Collaborate on comprehensive models using BIM 360, working alongside other disciplines.
3. Conduct site visits to identify and implement design improvements.
4. Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
5. Occasionally assist in the development of General Arrangement drawings, such as plant layouts.
6. Participate in design reviews and provide input on feasibility.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in structural engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with steel and concrete structural design.
• Strong grasp of structural integrity and safety principles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Consideration for candidates with an EIT designation, provided they have 1-2 years before they can apply for.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Work Environment

The position requires 40 hours per week, primarily in the office, with 2 flex days a month available to work from home.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00 / hr.
