Job Description

We are seeking Structural Assemblers to bring their expertise to our team, embodying our core values. Your role will be pivotal in a team where every member's contribution drives us forward and leads to our collective success.

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and subassemblies of aircraft systems, parts, and components for an assigned project and station area.
  2. Use technical data and instructions provided by the Client / Aircraft manufacturer.
  3. Use templates and position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings, or any other materials provided by the Methods Department.
  4. Read and interpret plans or the manufacturing file.
  5. Adapt your work to various types of assembly: large / small components.
  6. Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be done.
  7. Assemble metal and/or composites parts according to the technical specifications provided by the client:
  8. Install required fasteners; drill holes; ensure the right products are used for assembling (bolts, tempered or mechanical rivets, screws, or accessories for fixing, supporting, or hanging components and sub-sets).
  9. Ensure the right products are used for assembling (sealants, bonding, corrosion, paint).
  10. Ensure the conformity of the assemblies with respect to the manufacturing file.
  11. Inspect and check the installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure fit, performance, and compliance with the standards in the technical documentation.
  12. Comply with quality standards and production rates.
  13. Respect health, safety, and environmental standards.
  14. Report any discrepancies or irregularities.
Skills And Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an Assembler in the Aeronautics field.
  • Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of reading drawings.
  • Dexterous with good attention to detail.
  • Quick thinker.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
Experience
  • At least 5 years experience as an Assembler in the field of Aeronautics.
