Job Title: Stroke Neurologist

Work Site: Vancouver General Hospital

Come work as a Stroke Neurologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

The Vancouver General Hospital Division of Neurology is seeking an RCPSC Certified Neurologist with fellowship training in Stroke and Cerebrovascular disease. The person hired will have the opportunity to establish a full-scope stroke subspecialty practice with an expectation to participate in general neurology service. Clinical on-call responsibilities are divided between 12 stroke neurologists for the stroke service and all (30+) neurologists for the general neurology service. Hospital outpatient clinics include stroke clinic and rapid access general neurology clinic.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease fellowship with interest in large vessel vasculopathy or stroke rehabilitation and medical education.

VGH is a teaching hospital, and therefore teaching with medical students, residents, and fellows is mandatory. Research and other academic activities are assets.
