Evanov Communications is seeking a part-time, seasonal Street Team Brand Ambassador to represent their stations at events across Southwestern Ontario. This role requires a passion for music and marketing, strong communication skills, and a commitment to engaging with the community. Ideal candidates will work well independently, have a full G driver’s license, and be available for at least 20 hours per week during the busy season.

CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Street Team Brand Ambassador (Part Time/Seasonal) – SW, Ontario

We are looking for an individual that has a keen interest in media and marketing with a passion for music! The Street Team Brand Ambassador will represent Evanov Communications Inc. (ECI) in the community and at events for Lite 92.1 (CKPC FM) and Hot Country 93.9 (CFWC FM). Working as part of the promotions team, this candidate will provide support, exceptional service, and become an integral component of our progressive team environment.

The ideal candidate works well independently, is creative and engaging, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

THE CREATION – What you’ll do (includes but not limited to)

-Represent Lite 92.1 and Hot Country 93.9 on the street at events, retail stores, etc.

-Maintain equipment and ensure every setup is clean of wires, garbage, and debris, at all times.

-Execute events and on locations from start to finish; coordinate with clients, seek out a strategic setup location, put up banners, run on-site activations, set up and tear down station gear, etc.)

-Drive and maintain ECI Brantford Fleet; including loading and unloading of equipment, gassing up, and ensuring vehicles are kept sparkling.

-Create an exciting environment while interacting with our listeners, get creative!

-Create engaging, content-focused social media posts/stories for Brantford stations

-Assist the Promotions Manager and his/her designate with duties as assigned

THE ENERGY – Bring your vibe

-Legal age of majority in Ontario required

-Full G driver’s license with a clean driver record/abstract required with a familiarity of Southwestern Ontario

-Night and weekend availability is mandatory, may include weekdays, at times with short notice; must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours/week (May to September)

-Graduate or current student of broadcasting/media program an asset

-Ability to deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision

-Outgoing, customer-focused, and enthusiastic to engage with the public at events

-Have a marketing eye; ability to seek out opportunities

-Previous radio, brand ambassador, or event experience is an asset

-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and social media platforms (specifically Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok); Photoshop is an asset

-Attention to detail, strong time management, organization skills

-Strong interpersonal and with ability to problem solve and make decisions

-Excellent written communication skills (proficiency in English)

-Physical ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended hours
