Job summary

BMO Financial Group, Toronto, invites applications for a strategic, senior analyst role within the Strategy & Change group. The hybrid position focuses on aligning values with business strategy, driving performance, and delivering tangible outcomes across stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

  • Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into strategies and insights.
  • Strategic thinking, competitive analysis, financial modeling and business case development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and drive data-driven decision making.

  • Conducts scenario planning to help inform senior leaders on the range of strategic choices.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise‑wide focus.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non‑routine situations.

Qualifications

Salary

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
