Job Summary

Looking for a Strategy Analyst to join a fast-paced Capital Markets technology team to collaborate across business and the wider enterprise. The Technology Strategy team is focused on advancing multi-year strategic initiatives, accelerating digital and AI, modernization, and simplification of our estate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for highlighting our accomplishments to stakeholders across the organization. This involves active coordination with multiple departments to identify key achievements and communicate them effectively using various tools such as articles, videos, podcasts, newsletters, town halls, and offsites.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Coordinate with teams to gather information from multiple stakeholders and conduct analysis to support the creation of compelling presentations.
  • Use appropriate tools to prepare materials (articles, infographics, videos, emails, surveys, RBC Connect, etc.) to showcase team accomplishments.
  • Translate broad concepts and problems into concise business stories suitable for diverse audiences, from employees to executives.
  • Facilitate deep dives into key topics to gather content and develop understanding for sharing with stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver impactful sessions for regional audiences, including in-person and virtual town halls, offsites, and employee engagement events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver top-tier presentations for senior executives.
  • Maintain and update Confluence, SharePoint, and RBC Connect sites to enhance employee engagement.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in strategy, branding, marketing, project management, or communications roles.
  • Self-starter, highly flexible, detail-oriented, comfortable with change and ambiguity, capable of multi-tasking under tight deadlines with accuracy.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to partner effectively across the organization.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent planning, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead through change and ambiguity.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in Financial Services or Technology sectors.
  • Knowledge of consulting advisory services, strategy development, business process management, target operating models, and design thinking frameworks like Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience in strategy development and project management within a consulting environment.
  • Experience in identifying and delivering revenue or cost-saving initiatives.
  • Event management experience.
