Aviso Wealth is seeking a Director of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management in Canada to set the strategic direction across the supplier lifecycle and lead a high-impact team. You will focus on governance, leverage market intelligence, and drive value through strategic negotiations in a dynamic wealth-management environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supplier management, including leading complex sourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline such as business, commerce, finance, supply chain management, economics, or law.
• A professional designation in procurement, supply chain management, contract management, or related designation is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing employees and building effective, accountable teams.
• Experience setting functional direction and developing or enhancing sourcing and supplier management operating models, governance frameworks and lifecycle practices.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen to shape sourcing and renewal strategies and balance cost, service and risk.

Responsibilities

• Set Strategic Sourcing Direction: Define and advance strategic sourcing practices using market intelligence and spend insights to shape value opportunities.
• Advance Supplier Lifecycle Management: Lead evolution of supplier onboarding, performance, renewal and offboarding with scalable governance.
• Strengthen Supplier Performance and Value: Lead supplier performance management and strategic relationship oversight for value.
• Shape Commercial Strategy and Value Realization: Identify opportunities to optimize costs, rationalize relationships, improve contractual outcomes and renew planning.
• Influence Enterprise Decisions and Supplier Relationships: Advise senior leaders on sourcing and commercial decisions with governance for key relationships.
• Elevate the Function and Build Capability: Develop the function's roadmap, governance, and enablement; coach and grow the team.
• Drive Governance, Insights and Continuous Improvement: Translate spend and risk information into actionable insights for leadership.
