Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Procurement Specialist – Level II to collaborate with Procurement Managers on RFXs, contract reviews, and strategic sourcing initiatives. You will model proposals using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to communicate outcomes to stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, extensive procurement experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects while building supplier relationships. A degree or professional certification is required.

Qualifications

• University graduation or professional certification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Procurement.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing requirements and practices.
• Ability to develop and execute category management strategies and plans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to develop and execute supplier contract agreements.
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to learn proprietary databases.
• Strong stakeholder relationships and negotiation skills.
• Excellent English communication; French an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Procurement Managers on RFXs and contract reviews.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to maximize value and mitigate risk.
• Lead end-to-end competitive bid processes and negotiate with suppliers for best value.
• Identify and measure supplier performance; drive improvements.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and contracts.
• Create standard templates for RFx, contracts, SLAs, and letters of agreement.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and cross-functional collaboration.
