Job summary

OECM is hiring a procurement professional to support strategic sourcing, develop sourcing strategies, analyze spend data, and manage end-to-end procurement for goods and services. You will collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to ensure value for money and timely project milestones.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in supply chain or procurement, with strong data analysis, negotiations, and stakeholder-management skills, in a fast-paced environment across Ontario.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in business/related field; master's asset
• Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain management or related discipline
• Knowledge of sourcing/procurement principles and terms
• Demonstrated project management experience in sourcing projects
• Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

• Supports Strategic Sourcing in developing strategies for products/services
• Leverages data and builds relationships to inform procurement decisions
• Provides spend data analysis and recommendations for business requirements
• Acts as sourcing expert to executive team; presents updates and priorities
• Manages end-to-end procurement process including negotiations, agreements and implementation
• Ensures timely posting of procurement information and project milestones
• Leads cross-functional teams and manages transitions to responsible departments
• Prepares procurement strategy documents, RFx, bid analyses and award documentation
• Facilitates score review meetings and briefing documents for awards
• Participates in cross-functional project execution such as launches and process improvements

Education

Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields
