About the team:

The Technology Planning and Cooperation Department promotes strategic innovation across Huawei Canada. The team focuses on researching emerging technologies and strategic planning to support Huawei's long-term vision. This department offers a unique opportunity to leverage both technical and business skills.

About the job:

1. Conduct insights activities related to new computing hardware technologies, especially chip technology, including memory subsystems, advanced packaging, and interconnect technologies.

2. Analyze the potential value, breakthroughs, and challenges of emerging computing hardware technologies.

3. Generate detailed technology and industry analysis reports to support strategic decision-making.

4. Track recent technological advancements through international conferences, publications, and exhibitions.

5. Organize seminars and workshops, and maintain technical exchanges with academic and industry partners.

About the ideal candidate:

1. Educational background in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related fields; Ph.D. is a plus.

2. Keen insight and analytical skills in computing hardware.

3. Experience in both academic and industry settings is advantageous.

4. Strong teamwork and self-learning abilities.

5. Existing networks or connections in North American research institutes, universities, or companies related to the above fields are assets.
