Job summary

Lock Search Group is actively seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead a dedicated team of buyers and manage a multi-million-dollar procurement portfolio. You will design procurement strategies, optimize supplier performance, and align purchasing decisions with sales and finance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in materials management, procurement, business admin or related.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience in distribution/electrical/wire & cable environments.
• Strong expertise in sourcing, supplier management, purchasing, inventory planning and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor the purchasing team, balancing workloads and portfolios.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with priorities and market conditions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and manage performance and pricing initiatives.
• Oversee P.O. activity, supplier commitments, and expedites while ensuring proper approvals.
