Job summary

S3 Group Ltd. in Swift Current, SK is hiring two Purchasers to secure materials for production, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries. You will liaise across production and engineering, using your negotiation and analytical skills to optimize cost and terms in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail oriented and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials for production and engineering on purchase orders.
• Source materials, negotiate price, delivery, specifications and quantity with suppliers.
• Handle planned orders with start dates on or before today.
• Maintain accurate inventory and evaluate suppliers based on performance and financial stability.
• Ensure PO dates in MAX reflect the latest agreement and address overdue orders daily.
