The TELUS Sustainability and ESG Team collaborates with our products and services teams and our procurement and supply chain operations teams to ensure sustainability and environmental considerations are embedded into our policies, practices and procedures. Additionally, our team develops strategies and action plans to support biodiversity in our communities to protect our planet. We are seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, a track record of leading company-wide programs and projects with experience in procurement and supply chain operations as well as providing environmental subject matter expertise.

As Strategic Programs Director, Climate, you will be part of a high profile portfolio and report to the Global Head of Sustainability & ESG. Through your collaborative and programmatic approach you will : solve problems, introduce new and innovative ideas, and hone a vision for a balance of integrated sustainability solutions across TELUS’ value chain whilst ensuring strong interlock between teams. What you’ll do
The Strategic Programs Director of Climate will lead the development and execution of the organization’s climate strategy, with a core focus on delivering actionable Climate Transition Plans (CTPs). This role requires a highly strategic and technically knowledgeable leader with experience navigating regulatory frameworks, sustainability reporting, risk management, and cross-sector collaboration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling the organization to meet our net-zero commitment, align with the climate disclosure framework, and integrate science-based targets across business functions.

Salary Range : $118,000-$178,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan : 30%
