Job summary

Multimatic in Concord, Ontario is seeking a Program Manager to drive a full lifecycle from concept through launch. You will oversee scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with engineering, purchasing, and customers to ensure successful delivery.

You will mitigate risks, track KPIs, and guide teams through PPAP/DFMEA activities while maintaining adherence to IATF16949 and other standards. Strong leadership and communications are essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience managing or supporting programs in a complex manufacturing environment.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Experience with automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier program launches is an asset.
• Ability to read and fully interpret engineering drawings and standards.
• Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and other core quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program execution to achieve the organization’s strategic goals and milestones on time and within budget.
• Define scope, set goals, create roadmaps and timelines, and monitor execution to ensure milestones and budget targets are achieved.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and communicate with stakeholders to align efforts with objectives.
• Allocate resources across teams, manage program budgets, and track spending.
• Track KPIs to evaluate program success and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Lead DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R and design reviews; coordinate with customers and suppliers on feasibility and SOW.
