Job summary

Cérélia Canada is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee procurement and purchasing across raw materials, ingredients, packaging, energy, and services. You will implement group purchasing strategies, build supplier relationships, lead tenders and contracts, manage supply risks, and drive cost optimization across business units.

Reporting to the Group Purchasing Director, the role emphasizes responsible sourcing, cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Finance, and Operations, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in procurement roles.
• At least 1–3 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier performance and market analysis.
• Experience with tender processes, cost breakdowns, value analysis, and contract management; knowledge of futures markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adapt group purchasing strategies at the business-unit level.
• Develop responsible sourcing strategies with CSR collaboration.
• Manage procurement budget (approx. $80–$100 million).
• Strengthen supplier relationships to support quality, cost, availability and continuity of supply.
• Lead tenders, evaluations, and negotiations for materials, packaging, services, and energy.
• Maintain supply-risk mapping and mitigation plans.
• Monitor markets to inform purchasing decisions for senior management.
• Collaborate with R&D to source and reference new ingredients/materials.
• Work with Quality to address supplier non-conformities and performance.
