Job summary

Domtar, a leading producer of pulp, paper and packaging, is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Mississauga. This full-time role handles inventory control, requisitions, supplier management and master data maintenance to meet service levels and cost targets.

The successful candidate will leverage Excel and SAP procurement processes, work in a hybrid environment, and contribute to monthly reporting and vendor negotiations. Salary ranges from $59,000 to $66,400 CAD per year.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and/or PMAC Accreditation (CPP) is an asset.
• Must work independently and in a team; detail oriented with strong analytical, communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong English communication; French is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP procurement processes is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory levels to optimize stock and service levels.
• Process requisitions, purchase orders and master data updates.
• Negotiate discounts and supplier terms; manage vendor relationships.
• Create and maintain pricing conditions in info records.
• Prepare ad hoc and monthly inventory reports.
• Support the purchasing team and assist manager as required.
