Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking a Specialist in Strategic Procurement and Contract Management to advise on procurement and contracting within Legal Services and internal clients. The role emphasizes risk and compliance across strategic, high-value initiatives.

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Legal Services, the specialist collaborates with contract managers and external parties to drive pre-planning, planning, negotiation and contract management while aligning with Island

Qualificações

• Master's degree plus seven years' related procurement/contract management experience in public sector.
• Public sector procurement or supply chain designation is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic procurement and contracting advice to Legal Services and internal clients, including pre-planning, planning, contract award, negotiation and contract management.
• Support contract managers with management of Cerner contracts portfolio and related governance, risk and compliance processes.
• Identify, gather and document business requirements to reduce risk and realize value through procurement life cycle.
