Strategic Procurement – Category Specialist – 6 Months contract

We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Category Specialist (6 months’ contract) to manage the sourcing of materials, goods, and services—both direct and indirect—for the Factors Group of Companies. This role is responsible for maintaining supply continuity, securing competitive pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services from reliable suppliers. The Category Specialist will also support cash flow management, meet production and stakeholder needs, and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies. All responsibilities are carried out with a strong commitment to our seven core values, including sustainability for people, planet, and profit.

6 Month’s Contract (40 hours per week)

Monday to Friday 8 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pm (flexible); Hybrid

In this role, you will :

• Develop and implement category strategies to support sourcing, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management for assigned categories.
• Drive procurement process improvements and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to qualify new suppliers, materials, and solutions.
• Monitor supplier performance and stay ahead of market trends to support strategic decisions.

You have :

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; a Master's or supply chain certification (APICS, SCMA) is a strong asset.

5+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

Expertise in Source to Pay (S2P) processes and ERP / MRP systems; strong Excel skills.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management capabilities.

A proactive, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
