Job summary

Xerox IT Solutions Canada is seeking a Presales Solution Architect to win and deliver IT solutions for Canadian clients. You will translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable offerings, collaborating with sales, delivery, and partners across hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes solution design leadership, stakeholder communication, and hands-on support through proposal, approval, and transition stages, ensuring readiness for delivery in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT consulting, solution architecture, presales or related client-facing tech work (as stated in the role).
• 3+ years supporting sale and design of enterprise IT systems or managed services.
• Knowledge in AI, cloud, data centers, networking, cybersecurity, or data protection.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical tech and service solutions.
• Strong analytical, discovery, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication: written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of IT solutions across opportunities of varying size.
• Engage clients and stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, and outcomes.
• Develop solution strategies, scopes, roadmaps, and pricing inputs.
• Support the sales pursuit lifecycle: discovery, proposals, bids, and presentations.
• Present complex concepts clearly to technical and executive audiences.
• Coordinate input from sales, delivery, and partners to ensure deliverable proposals.
• Provide technical leadership during due diligence and due transitions.
• Handoff to delivery teams and support operational readiness.
