Job summary

SaskEnergy Incorporated seeks a Director, Policy, Services and Rates to lead rate-setting for SaskEnergy Distribution Utility, TransGas and MIPL, balancing customer needs with financial returns.

You will shape policies, services and rate strategies, oversee annual and long-term plans, and engage regulators, customers and government stakeholders to support safe, reliable natural gas services in Saskatchewan.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce or Engineering.
• Nine (9) years rate and regulatory experience in transmission and distribution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior management.
• Strong customer, regulator and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to coach, mentor and influence staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel.
• Lead engagement with TransGas’ largest customers on strategic issues.
• Oversee development of business and investment policies to support services.
• Provide leadership of the revenue forecasting process.
• Monitor industry trends affecting SaskEnergy and TransGas and regulators.
• Develop SaskEnergy, TransGas and MIPL rates and manage rate adjustment processes.
• Monitor rate design performance and recommend revisions.
• Develop and implement customer policies meeting changing needs of the Corporation or Province.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
