Job summary

Stride is seeking a Strategic Partnerships & Vendor Relations Manager to lead prize sourcing, partnerships, and vendor management across Canadian lottery programs. The role focuses on sourcing prizes, negotiating terms, and building national brand relationships to strengthen Stride’s competitive advantage.

You'll collaborate with Lottery Delivery, Marketing, Finance and client teams, manage an active pipeline of partners, and drive value through cross-functional negotiations and contract

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships or related commercial role.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating products, services and sponsorships.
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers, affiliates, brands and strategic partners across multiple categories.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including evaluating costs, value, pricing, business cases and commercial returns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with consumer brands, retail, manufacturing, travel, automotive, hospitality, entertainment, technology or related organizations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate prizes across homes, vehicles, travel, electronics and lifestyle products.
• Develop acquisition strategies using pricing, sponsorships and value-in-kind arrangements.
• Maintain an active pipeline of suppliers and partnership opportunities.
• Identify and develop partnerships that enhance lottery programs and commercial opportunities.
• Lead contract management and commercial negotiations with vendors.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure opportunities align with program needs.
• Manage vendor and affiliate relationships and ensure delivery against commitments.
• Review agreements for pricing and terms improvements.
