The Strategic Marketing Associate will play a critical role in linking sales analytics with marketing intelligence to drive global growth. This role will partner with the Program Manager, Market Insights & Intelligence to analyze customer, competitor, and market data, while also providing sales leaders with actionable insights through dashboards and reporting. The analyst will contribute directly to the formulation of global sales and marketing strategies, enabling Armstrong to expand its Basis of Design (BoD) footprint, strengthen customer engagement, and anticipate market trends.

Key Responsibilities
Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager, Market Insights & Intelligence, to research and analyze industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer behavior.
  • Deliver insights on market share, customer segmentation, pricing benchmarks, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support global marketing campaigns and product positioning strategies with data-driven recommendations.
  • Translate intelligence into actionable insights for go-to-market planning and regional execution.
Sales & Marketing Analytics
  • Analyze sales performance and marketing campaign effectiveness at global, regional, and account levels.
  • Provide insights into pipeline health, lead conversion, and marketing ROI.
  • Partner with marketing teams to track digital engagement, lead generation, and customer acquisition metrics.
  • Support the integration of sales and marketing data for holistic performance measurement.
Dashboard Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards that integrate both sales and marketing KPIs.
  • Create intuitive visualizations to provide leadership with a real-time view of market performance.
  • Automate recurring reports and ensure standardized KPI definitions across regions and functions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales Enablement Centers, Offering Managers, Marketing, and Finance to align analytics with strategic goals.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior sales and marketing leaders to influence global strategy.
  • Drive adoption of CRM and BI tools, ensuring consistency in both sales reporting and marketing intelligence.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–6 years of experience in market intelligence, marketing analytics, or sales analytics within a B2B/manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel; SQL or other data tools an asset.
  • Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills with ability to connect insights to marketing and sales strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across global and cross-functional teams.
